On July 1, 1990, a new metal gate was installed at the entrance of a Lutheran cemetery in the Latvian town of Ikšķile. The gate was produced by two master craftsmen - Edmunds Peslaks and Andris Šteinburgs.
From childhood, Edmunds Peslaks had hoped someday to own his own workshop.
Now the dream has come true.

After he studied the work of the world's best blacksmiths and ceaselessly improved his own skills through hard work, Edmunds Peslaks in 1995 established an individual company called "Peslaks Blacksmithing Workshop".

In 2004, the company was renamed. Today it is known as SIA "Peslaks Metals Processing", and it has enjoyed years of purposeful development. The technologies used have been expanded, and so has the range of services.
Today SIA "Peslaks Metal Processing" offers a wide variety of railings, gates, fences, stairs, as well as other metal objects, WS paints and polyurethane linings.

The work of the company's master craftsmen can be seen all over Latvia - at the "Līvu" aqua park, at the "Siemens" ice rink, the Ogre ice rink, the Maikapars building, the Latvian embassies in Belarus and Lithuania, the residence of the Swiss ambassador to Latvia, one of the Lido restaurants, as well as many hotels, restaurants, shops, government institutions and private residences.

Our master blacksmiths can carry out the most complex projects. We have produced the metal elements for bobsleds, we have produced a ski lift for one of Latvia's local ski facilities, and we have satisfied the most extravagant hopes and dreams of a great many designers.
